The Valley Center Booster Club meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Valley Center High School cafeteria.

Don't have time to volunteer and/or want to provide a "boost" to the students of VCHS?  Consider being a sponsor.  Not only do Sponsors help provide financial help, but they will also receive their choice of an exclusive Hornet license plate frame or Hornet yard sign.  Sign up online at the link below - Afterwards you will be directed to pay by credit card at our VC Booster Club Marketplace or you may send payment to our PO Box.

The Valley Center Booster Club, Inc is a parent-led 501c3 nonprofit organization providing support to USD 262 and Valley Center High School approved student organizations.  Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of VCHS students by providing encouragement, support, and funding to enhance the academic, athletic, and fine arts experiences of students.  We promote citizenship, sportsmanship, and community involvement.

For the 2016-2017 school year, VC Booster Club contributed almost $35,000 to 43 different groups at VCHS, including classes, teachers, athletics and activities.   The money is used by the various groups for opportunities of their choice (trips, group parties, uniforms, etc.).  VC Booster Club also awards two $500 leadership scholarships and two $250 scholarships to the most inspirational male and female athlete each year.

Athletic and academic groups are able to earn money by working concession stands, a booth at Fall Festival and other fundraising activities coordinated by the VC Booster Club.  On October 14th, we will be hosting our 2nd annual Mattress Fundraiser at the High School. Brand name mattresses will be sold with proceeds going to Booster Club.  Last year we earned $7300 on this fundraiser!

VC Booster Club volunteers produce the fall and winter sports programs. The programs are made available at athletic events free of charge. We coordinate back-to-school luncheons, evening conference dinners, and teacher appreciation snacks. Booster Club volunteers also cook hamburgers for the USD 262 faculty, staff and administration at the first home varsity football game each season.

Booster Club would not be able to support the high school students without its parents and other amazing volunteers. We welcome new ideas on ways to help our students enhance their high school experiences. Please consider joining us as a volunteer as your schedule allows this coming school year.

Become a sponsor and receive a hornet license plate frame. Sponsorship levels start at $10. With a sponsorship of $20 or more, you may designate $10 to a VCHS activity or athletic group of your choice.
